“ Nice neighborhood store where you can run in for a few choice things without having to walk a mile for the things you need. Always clean and neat. Friendly employees. ”
“ What can I say, this grocery store is a throwback to when Big M's were all over the place. I love it. It's small, cozy, has everything you need and is never overly crowded. It is a local treasure that always has fantastic deals on meat. The bakery items aren't bad also. They run a great deal on meat - 5 for $19.99 on select products. The meat is high quality and they run weekly specials that can't be beat. ”
“ So from the outside it looks pretty plain It's not polished But it's a local gem I grew up here and this is where we go for meat. The steaks are always good and fresh This isn't a big place with lots of selection but they have most of what you'll need I agree with another reviewer that the seafood salad in the deli is great. It it the go to appetizer for our get togetherness The staff is helpful and know the products They will take special orders on meat and can get what you want They are great with phone orders ”
“ I love this place! Its super close to me and not crowded like Wegmans. You have to know that this place is what a true grocery store was like growing up. Its not like a mass wholesaler with tons of products and choices, nor is it fancy with millions of different cheeses and international spices etc. But it gets the job done when you just need to run in quick after work for a few supplies. Things worth noting: Their cold cuts are pretty inexpensive. Also, I prefer their meat selection to that of any Wegmans. I cannot stand those gold foil packs that Wegmans uses. I wanna see red meat and I want to be able to poke it and see if its tender etc. You cant really do that with those gold foil packages. I also prefer their freshly baked pie selection. They have like 6 or so different flavors for way less than Wegmans. (Prices ranging from $4-6, while Wegmans pies go for about $6-12) The Strawberry Rhubarb is my all time fav and you can pre-order it the night before to guarantee you'll get your hands on one!!!! Lastly, my husband is in love with their seafood salad. You can find it at the deli and by the seafood section. Put some on crackers or on a croissant. Yum! Overall, stop in if you are trying to get away from crowds and the hustle and bustle that is at every other grocery store and super center. ”
“ have been getting subs here for awhile and thought I should rate them since there is so much competion in Gates. If your a sub person then you know that usually when you go to a grocery store deli for a sub it is great and big M is right there, lots of meat, fresh bread, and very friendly staff. Good job! Oh and very cheap to. ”
